Good morning from sunny Scotland - I think this forum could be an amazing resource for us to share our experiences with ERAS. There's still a lot of work to do out there embedding ERAS into everyday practice so we should support each other and "Keep ERAS'ing"!! I look forward to chatting with you guys

Hi Angie, greetings from the south coast (sunny again at the moment but we had a hell of a thunderstorm this morning, torrential rain and hailstones the size of golf balls, I swear) Anyway, good to see you here!
I also think this is going to be a great resource once people get into the swing of using it. I have it on my desktop and just minimise it so that whenever I pop back into the office I can check it - easy enough. Hopefully we will build a lot of information about all sorts of aspects of ERAS and it will all be organised into threads which we can easily access whenever we need to. Plus, I think people will get to know each other a little better along the way!

irene.fitt said Aug 11, 2014 Late reply I know, however i agree with above comments. This will work well when we ALL get used to using it and we have ...not sure what ... where the conclusion of our questions is put, so we can very quickly access. :-)

In response to a request from Glenn Lake, an ERP Nurse Facilitator from Chichester and Worthing, we have set up this forum.
I hope you will all engage with this networking tool and make the most of the opportunity to share experiences and good practice.
All the best,
Fiona [Last edited May 09, 2014] Fiona Carter SWSTN and ERAS UK Manager

HELLO everyone. Good afternoon!!!! Greetings from PRUH Orpington. Who attended the ERAS Conference in Washington this year? Would you like to share what you have learned from the conference? Can someone advice me please. I have been an ERAS CNS now for 8 months. My question is who does the bowel prep and pre-load. Pre-assessment nurses or ERAS nurse? HELP !! Hi All
Just found ERAS and joined last month and have just registered here. A forum on ER will be great for networking and sharing ideas and good practice.
I am just about to start a position in ER and pathway coordination and would be interested in hearing from anyone with a similar role. I will be happy to share all experiences and ideas and help develop this forum in any way I can.
